Saturn is traditionally considered the Greater Malefic and signifies solitude, sadness and poverty when afflicted. However, as the Renaissance mage Marsilio Ficino says, "You certainly should not neglect the power of Saturn...those who give themselves over to with their whole mind to the divine contemplation signified by Saturn himself [can escape his negative influence and receive his propitious power]. The Chaldeans, Egyptians and Platonists think that by this method one can avoid the malice of fate. Three Books on Life, Bk III, ch 22.
The Renaissance mage Cornelius Agrippa says of the talisman of Saturn that it,
"...doth help to bring forth, or birth, and to make a man safe, and powerfull, and to cause success of petitions with princes, and powers"Three Books of Occult Philosophy Bk.II, Chapter 22.

The election is for 7:37 am MST, November 28, 2009 for Boulder, Colorado, and we will be casting Saturn talismans on this date! Saturn is super dignified by exaltation, triplicity and term (+9) when (+5) is very good. It is the planetary day and planetary hour of Saturn. Saturn culminates. A fabulous Saturn talisman election!
