Renaissance Astrology is is proud to present authentic bronze talismans of the fixed star Alkaid, Cauda Ursae Majoris, the tail of the Great Bear or Big Dipper for protection and wisdom.

The Renaissance mage Cornelius Agrippa says, "Under the tail of Ursa Major they made the image of a pensive Man, or of a Bull, or the Figure of a Calf; it availeth against incantations, and maketh him who carrieth it secure in his travels:" Three Book of Occult Philosophy, Book II, chapter 47.

Hermes on the 15 Fixed Stars says of the talisman of Alkaid that it, "....is strong against incantations and against assassins and gives security from them, and if with this is placed the tooth of a wolf it protects also from robbers and thieves."

You can see the front of Alkaid talisman image above, a pensive man with the stars of the Big Dippper in the background. This image also comes from Sufi sources as it depicts the Qutb or Spiritual Pole, the spiritual axis around which the spiritual life of the world revolves. Since the Big Dipper is circumpolar, i.e., it never sets, orbiting around Polaris, the North Star, it also gives spiritual guidance. On the back is the sigil of Alkaid and the goals of protection and wisdom.

The Alkaid talismans were cast on 9:04 am, August 4, 2019 in Islamabad, Pakistan. Alkaid rises and the waxing Moon applies to conjoin Alkaid.

I am pleased to offer these beautiful golden bronze talismans of Alkaid. They are 1.5 inches in diameter and weigh 13 grams. Golden bronze is 98% copper and 2% alloy.
The talismans were cast and consecrated at the elected time and come with a cord to wear as a pendant. All Renaissance Astrology talisman are consecrated when cast to call the celestial angels/spirits into them. We recommend an additional personal consecration to introduce yourself to the angels/spirits and bring the power of the talisman to you. The talisman comes with a color image for consecration plus an information booklet with full personal consecration instructions.
