Algol is the second brightest star of the constellation Perseus and thus is sometimes referred to as Beta Persei. The name Algol, says Richard Hinckley Allen, comes from the Arabic Ras Al-Ghul, which literally means the Mischief Maker. Star Names (Dover, 1963) page 332.
The Renaissance mage Cornelius Agrippa says,
"Under the Head of Algol, they made an image whose figure was the head of a man with
a bloody neck; they report that it bestoweth good success to petitions, and make
him go carrieth it bold and magnanimous, and preserveth the members of the body
sound; also it helpeth against witchcraft, and reflecteth evil endeavours, and
wicked incantations upon our adversaries."

Hermes On the 15 Fixed Stars
says that the talisman of Algol, "...gives animosity and audacity, guards the members [of the wearer]
and makes victorious over what you wish."
On the front of the talisman is the sigil of Algol from Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy eight diamonds set in the talisman and the name "Algol". The back is blank.
These are extremely powerful talismans, and users should be prepared for
some initial "rambunctiousness" from Algol. Very typical, and I've experienced this myself, is
electronic disruptions when you first start using your Algol talisman. I mysteriously lost my Internet
connection for 45 minutes and my electronic house thermostat blew out! After this initial short
period of difficulty Algol settles down and goes to work! I've had clients report that Algol actively
seeks out and neutralizes their enemies. Clients have also reported odd or downright evil people
running away from them when they wear an Algol talisman.
The Algol talismans were created with the conditions shown on this chart for 6:34 am, August 9, 2023 in Islamabad, Pakistan These conditions are that Algol culminates and the exalted Moon applies to conjoin Algol.
