On the front of the talisman is the head of the Gorgon Medusa. On the back of the talisman in the middle is the sigil of Algol and the name Algol and around the edge are the goals of the talisman, "protection from enemies and spiritual protection".

Very typical, and I've experienced this myself, is electronic disruptions when you first start using your Algol talisman.
