Growth & Psychic Ability

The current chart is an astrological talisman of the Moon. As the Moon was the closest planet to Earth and the light of the night, along with the Sun, one of the luminaries, she is important in all elections. The Picatrix, an encyclopedic book of medieval Arabic astrological magic, says,

And draw your attention to the Moon in all works [of magic] as if it were the chief of all the other planets because it brings about evident manifestations and judgments [?] in all things in the world and it pertains to the power of generation and corruption and she is the mediatrix [female intermediary] in the advance of your work, receiving the influences and impressions of the stars and planets and pouring them out to the inferiors of this world.

Picatrix Book II, Chapter 3, paragraph 7 (translation by Christopher Warnock, Esq.)
The Renaissance mage and philosopher Cornelius Agrippa says,

They made another Image of the Moon for the increase of the fruits of the earth, and against poysons, and infirmities of children, at the hour of the Moon, it ascending in the first face of Cancer, the figure of which was a woman cornuted, riding on a Bull, or a Dragon with seven heads, or a Crab; and she hath in her right hand a dart, in her left a looking glass, clothed in white or green, and having on her head two Serpents with horns twined together, and to each arm a Serpent twined about, and to each foot one in like manner.

Three Books of Occult Philosophy, Bk II, ch. 44.
While Agrippa does not mention Moon phase this has been widely considered to be a key indicator of the Moon's effects, widely used by magicians who do not otherwise make use of astrology. Picatrix says,

Wherefore draw your attention to that which we have said before concerning her [being] fortunate and infortunate, increasing [waxing] and diminishing [waning] in light, because after separating from the Sun she secures his strength then she moves to be in a sextile, square, trine and opposition aspect. And she receives strength from the stars and planets when she is connected by the aspects we have mentioned before.

And if you find the Moon increasing in light then her strength and power is good and useful in all works to bring about increase and if you find the light [of the Moon] diminishing it is suitable and harmonious for all works in which you wish diminution.

And after the Moon separates from the conjunction of the Sun [New Moon] all the way up to a sinister [against the direction of the signs] square until it arrives at an opposition [Full Moon] it is always good and harmonious for buying and selling, trials and asking for the repayment of debts, debates and councils for everything you require.

Picatrix Book II, Chapter 3, paragraph 7 (translation by Christopher Warnock, Esq.)
Chart produced by Solar Fire 5
The time chosen for the election is March 1, 2004 at 1:17 p.m. EST in Cleveland Park, a neighborhood of Washington, D.C. 38 N 56, 77 W 03.
At this time the Moon rises in her sign Cancer.
It is the day of the Moon (Monday) as well as the planetary hour of the Moon.
This would be an appropriate talisman for all sorts of growth and increase.
In addition, I noticed an increase in my psychic ability and intuition after making this talisman. A similar effect was reported by a member of my discussion group who made a Moon talisman on this date and time (adjusted for their location).
To see if Moon talismans are currently in stock see Moon talismans or Currently Available Talismans.
If you wish to delve even deeper into this fascinating area I offer an Electional Astrology Course, an Astrological Magic Course, a Mansions of the Moon Mini-Course a Planetary Magic Mini-Course as well as Astrology and Magic Books and my discussion group Spiritus Mundi.
