The talisman shown on this page was made with Jupiter in Sagittarius, his sign and is the strongest Jupiter talisman until Jupiter goes into Pisces in 2010! Not only are the Jupiter in Sagittarius talismans autnentically made according to instructions of the Renaissance mage Cornelius Agrippa and the Picatrix, the key text of medieval and Renaissance astrological magic using their images, and designs, but most importantly these limited edition talismans were actually cast out of molten silver at a time precisely chosen to be the most astrologically auspicious for Jupiter talismans. TALISMAN BACK(enlarged) The key feature of these talismans is the front image of a ram headed Jupiter with eagle's feet, which you can see above. According to Agrippa, "They made also another Image of Jupiter for a religious and glorious life, and advancement of fortune; whose figure was a man having the head of a Lyon or a Ram, and Eagles feet, cloathed in Saffron coloured cloathes, and he was called the son of Jupiter." Turning to the back of the talismans, which you can see to right, we see the Latin motto, Confirmo O Deus Potentissimus, "Make Secure, O God Most Powerful" This comes directly from Barrett's the Magus as Agrippa's original talismans do not use the Latin mottoes found in Barrett. Next on the back we see the circular seal of Jupiter as well as the character of the Intelligence of Jupiter, IOPHIEL. This character was generated from the table of Jupiter, by using the numbers corresponding to the Hebrew letters of the name IOPHIEL. All in all the talismans are a wonderful example of the magical power of numbers and symbols, practical exemplars of the harmony and interconnections of all things in the Cosmos. The elected time and date is 2:04 pm MDT on September 6, 2007 for Boulder, Colorado, where the talismans were actually cast. At this time Jupiter rising.
