Medieval Depiction of Plato

Fire is the test of gold; adversity, and strength.

Seneca

In this question the querent (person asking the question) asked, "Will I pass my finals and graduate from college?" on June 20, 2003 at 12:21 pm (-3) in Tel Aviv, Israel, 32 N 04 34 E 46. Normally I use the time I received and understand the question, but in this case my client was quite sophisticated about astrology and we used the time of asking.
In this chart 24 degrees of Virgo rise and Mars is the hour ruler. As Mars is the mixed ruler of the earthy triplicity the chart is radical and has initial indications of accuracy.
Chart produced by Solar Fire 5
As Virgo rises, the ruler of the Ascendant and significator of the querent (person asking the question) is Mercury. Mercury is dignified by sign and thus strong in the 9th house.
The Moon is peregrine in the cadent sixth house. The Moon separates from a square of Mercury and Venus and applies to a square of the Sun.
The ruler of the 9th of higher education is Venus. Venus therefore signifies the college and the test. Venus is in the 9th of higher education.
Mercury, significator of the querent applies to a partile (almost exact) conjunction of Venus, significator of the college and test, in the 9th house of higher education. Venus is in the sign of Mercury, a sign of capture in battle questions. These are all positive indications. When we consider also the strength of Mercury it is clear that the querent will indeed pass their final exams and graduate.
