Because the astrological configuration underwhich it was made will not recur in our lifetime, this talisman cannot be made again. This talisman is very special because it is an example of the very height of the art of astrological magic, the house based talisman. The typical planetary, fixed star or Mansion of the Moon talisman requires approximately 3-5 factors be present. This talisman lists 15 conditions of which 11 are present. This makes this talisman absolutely unique as the conditions are so rare and unusual. The Great Wealth talisman was cast out of molten silver at a precisely elected time and then gold plated. You can see the actual chart of the making of this talisman below. Let's take a look at this beautiful talisman. On the front of the talisman, which you can see above to right, is a stunning image by the artist/mage Nigel Jackson of a spirit pouring out wealth. To left you can see the meditation and ritual image that accompanies this talisman. Here is Nigel's own description of this image, Mediation & Ritual Image 'A man, in the rich robes of the Magus, is shown seated before a table upon which is a lit candle and a small parchment bearing a square chart, representing the above election: behind him hangs a planisphere and in the foreground is a censer-thurible on a tripod from which perfumes rise in sinuous coils of fragrant smoke: In the firmament above a great star blazes surrounded by hosts of luminaries and from it dart glittering rays of celestial pneuma. Mysterious clouds of mist swirl and mount and from these a female spirit of mysterious and alluring beauty, a bringer of bountiful gifts, is depicted emerging: she is winged and crowned, with a star burning upon her brow and adorned with strings of jewels, her snaky tresses loose about her shoulders. This winged female spirit bears in her upraised arms a curious casket from which overflows a cascade of golden coins, showering down upon the table before the seated Magus.' TALISMAN BACK (enlarged) On the back of the talisman, which you can see to right, around the edge is the Hebrew of Psalm 112:3 "Wealth and riches are in his house, and his [God's] righteousness (fairness) endures forever." Then we can see in the center of the talisman on the first line the sigils of Pisces, sign on the 1st house and Sagittarius, the sign on the 10th house, the sigil of the Part of Fortune, then the sigil of Jupiter, the ruler of these two signs as well as the Part of Fortune. On the second line in the center of the talisman are the sigils of the Moon, of Taurus, the sign on the 2nd house, the sigil of Venus, ruler of the 2nd house and the sigil of Saturn, ruler of the hour. For the complex and difficult election for the talisman Picatrix says, An image to increase sales and profits. Fashion images, and make fortunate the Ascendant and the Tenth house and their lords, and the lord of the house of the lord of the Ascendant, and the lord of the house of the lord of the Tenth, the Moon and the lord of its house, as well as the Second house and its lord, and place the lord of the Second house in reception with the lord of the Ascendant by trine or sextile aspect, and place a fortune in the Second house, and place the Part of Fortune in the Ascendant or the Tenth house, and have the Lord of the Part of Fortune aspecting it with a good aspect. And when this image has thus been made, carry it with you, and hide it secretly so that none might see it, and you shall gain money in great quantities and have good fortune in all your undertakings." Picatrix Bk I ch. 5. The elected time and date is 1:02 pm, MST, on December 1, 2007 for Boulder, Colorado, where the talisman was cast. Let's look at the chart and the requirements set out for the election by Picatrix. First The Ascendant and 10th house are unafflicted. The Ascendant and the 10th house are both ruled by Jupiter, the Greater Benefic, who is highly dignified by sign and conjunct the 10th house cusp. The lord of the house of the lord of the Ascendant is Jupiter and the lord of the house of the lord of the 10th is also Jupiter. The Moon is peregrine, but otherwise unafflicted. The lord of the 2nd house is Venus, the Lesser Benefic, who is well dignified by sign and she is applying to sextile Jupiter, lord of the Ascendant. The Part of Fortune is right on the 10th house cusp and the lord of the Part of Fortune is Jupiter and Jupiter is conjunct the Part of Fortune. Wow, what a great election!
