Nigel says, "The Angels, Intelligences and Spirits we conjure and interact with in Magic are as much numinous states and modalities of magical consciousness as they are external entities in the universe. When we invoke an Angel-ruler of a Lunar Mansion or a planetary Angel we should remember what an Angel is - an 'Angelos', a 'Messenger' or expression of Divine Mind. And because we are each a 'noetic cosmos' as Plotinus says, the spiritual hierarchies of the Great Chain of Being exist within us. Look at the engraving of the Microcosm in Robert Fludd's 'Utriusque Cosmi...Historia' where the supra-rational powers of the Nous - the Mens, Intellectus and Ratio equate to the hierarchies of the Angels. In the Corpus Hermeticum it says that 'Mind is the Good Daemon' which expresses a similar equivalence as regards the Holy Guardian Angel or 'Perfect Nature'.
It is just as true to say that in a magical ceremony wherein we contact a spiritual being of the numinous hierarchies we are at the same time realising a link with a supernatural mode of consciousness, a noetic modality which exists beyond the mundane everyday realm of experience. Spiritual beings are also transcendent states of preternatural Mind which we contact and interact with through Magic and the images, names and symbols we use are the 'bonds' by which this interaction is realised.
This isn't to rationalise the magical interaction with spiritual beings or to regard such as merely subjective in a Jungian manner - more of an anagogic 'unveiling' that goes beyond the literal perception into a deeper understanding of spirit-beings and how we relate to them in Magical rituals."
Following on this Bill Whitcomb in his Axioms of Magic, says,
"Any concept, force, object, or phenomena maybe considered to be alive, to have a personality, to be an entity.
Corollary of Personification: Law of Invocation and Evocation
Any concepts, forces, or objects which manifest as entities can and should be treated as real beings. These beings (patterns) can also be viewed as objectified aspects of ourselves, but it is useless (perhaps even dangerous) to take this attitude while actually dealing with them. Do not be fooled just because something is only the personification of a pattern of energies. You can be described this way, too."
Ah, ha! I like that very much, that we are only personifications of patterns. Or rather a what we take to be ourselves is an identification with ephemeral patternings. Personification is very useful, however, it's a good way to display a large amount of information and understand a connected series of patterns succinctly. We personification allows us to interact with entities like IRS or the 3rd Baptist Church or the lord of the 3rd Mansion, as well as a cat or your next door neighbor, though typically only the last would be considered to be a person. Personification really is the root of my astrological magic practice since it determines how I work with talismans and astrological ritual.

J Jupiter is everyone's favorite planet for wealth, good fortune and wisdom. I attribute much of my financial success to my unceasing work with Jupiter. Jupiter talismans have been so popular that we sold out, so I am very happy to have Jupiter talismans available again.
These are very beautiful and magically powerful talismans. I am so happy to be able to work with Muhammed Ajmal, our jeweler/mage who created the designs. The design on the front is based around a six pointed star with names of Allah and huruf muqattallat or mysterious letters from the Quran. On the back are Jupiter sigils and symbol, Arabic Jupiter names from Picatrix and more of the 99 Beautiful Names of Allah. Gorgeous!
As far as the timing, we are not going to be able to make Jupiter talismans again until December of 2018, so while I would have liked these to be a little stronger, I am happy to have any good talismans at all. These are dignified by term (+2) but also Jupiter day and hour, so I think they are equal to +3, which is strong enough to get a good connection to Jupiter.
