Not only are they made according to the image given by of Picatrix and the seals and sigils of Cornelius Agrippa but these limited edition talismans were actually cast out of molten copper and silver at a precisely elected time! You can see the actual chart of the making of these talismans below. The key feature of these talismans is the image of Venus from Picatrix, "Si ex formis Veneris formam mulieris feceris in eius dextra malum tenentis, in sinistra vero pectinem..." According to the form of Venus make the form of a woman, holding an apple in her right hand and a comb in her left hand..." Picatrix, Book II, Chapter 10 (Translation by Christopher Warnock, Esq.) TALISMAN BACK(enlarged) We can also see on the front of the talisman the Divine Names and numbers corresponding from Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy. On the right are the Hebrew letters corresponding to the number 7 which is associated with Venus. On the left the Hebrew letters for Hagiel, the Intelligence of Venus. Below is the number 175 corresponding to Kedemel, the Spirit of Venus, and on top is the number 1225, the number of the Bne Seraphim, the Intelligences of Venus. Turning to the back of the talismans, which you can see to right, we see the Latin motto, "Vinculum quippe vinculorum amor est" which means, "Love is the bond of bonds" This is a key insight in astrological magic! Next on the back on top we see the seal of Venus. Below to left is the character of the Intelligence of Venus, Hagiel, and the standard astrological symbol of Venus. All in all the talismans are a wonderful example of the magical power of numbers and symbols, practical exemplars of the harmony and interconnections of all things in the Cosmos. The elected time and date is 12:49 pm, MST, on December 15, 2006 for Boulder, Colorado, where the talismans were actually cast. At this time Venus culminates and it is the planetary day (Friday) and the planetary hour of Venus. Venus is well dignified by both triplicity and term. I am pleased to offer these beautiful copper and silver talismans of Venus. We use sterling silver as our basic metal and have added in copper, the metal ruled by Venus. The talismans are a whopping ounce of copper and silver and are big! A full 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter. After being cast at the elected time, the talismans were then consecrated and a leather cord added. Each talisman comes with a color Nigel Jackson image of Venus for mediation and visualization as well as full consecration and ritual instructions. Actual Size (depending on browser!) Only a very few of these talismans were made. They are unique and the timing of their election can never be replicated. These are not the usual mass produced pewter "talismans" but made from copper and silver and carefully cast to the specifications in our original sources at the exact time most auspicious for Venus.
